Tanya
I spend my days with people who've just arrived in Cape Town — walking, talking, sitting somewhere with a view — until this city starts to feel like more than beautiful. It starts to feel like yours.
EnquireIt's company from someone who actually lives here, who's genuinely curious about you, and who has enough of her own life behind her — the easy seasons and the harder ones — to meet you exactly where you are.
A walk. A coffee. A cold morning swim. A proper dinner, finally, with someone across the table who isn't checking their phone.
A little about the company you're keeping
If there's one thing I've genuinely trained to be excellent at, it's this: making a stranger feel entirely met, quickly — not performed at, not managed, just seen. I've spent years training as a coach and a facilitator of human experience — across boardrooms, movement studios, and retreat spaces — alongside deep study of mindfulness and nervous system regulation. It all points at the same skill in the end. None of that makes this therapy. It just means the listening is real — the kind most people don't actually get, even from people who've known them for years.
You left something behind to come here — a job, a relationship, a version of your life that had stopped fitting. That took real courage. I'm not here to entertain you. I'm here to notice who you're becoming, now that nobody in this city knew who you were before.
For the ones who moved here for work, for love, for a life they couldn't build where they were. Whatever brought you — the landing is easier with someone beside you who already knows the ground.
Most people start with a single meeting, simply to see how it feels. If it's right, the first month is where this really comes alive.
About two hours together — a walk, a coffee, or something you've been wanting to try since you arrived.
Four meetings, one a week, with space to reach me in between. Along the way, I'll put together your own guide to Cape Town — the groups, places and people I think you'll love — and make the introductions myself.
After the first month, for those who'd like to keep going: two meetings a month, and staying in touch in between.
Euro amounts are approximate. Costs of activities themselves — meals, entry fees, transport — are agreed beforehand and paid separately.
This is a private arrangement, not a public one. I don't post photographs, and I don't share who I spend my time with — and I'd hope for the same care in return. Not because there's anything to hide, but because what happens between us is simply, quietly, ours.
Some of the best things happen quietly.
Tell me a little about yourself, and where you are in your own arrival. I read every enquiry myself, and reply personally.
